PokeMMO Tohjo Falls Location
Tohjo Falls is the cave on Johto Route 27 that links Johto toward Kanto. Bring Surf to cross the water and Waterfall to pass the falls.
Location: enter from Johto Route 27. Tohjo Falls is the cave passage between the Johto side of Route 27 and the route toward Kanto.
How to Reach Tohjo Falls
Travel east from New Bark Town onto Route 27. Use Surf to cross the water and enter the cave opening. Inside, Waterfall is needed to climb the main falls and continue through the passage.
If the route is blocked, return to the Johto storyline. Tohjo Falls is part of late regional progression, so reaching the entrance early does not bypass badge or field-move requirements.
What You Need
- Surf to cross Route 27 water and move through the cave.
- Waterfall to climb the falls inside.
- The relevant Johto story progress and field-move permissions.
Field moves can remain usable even when a Pokemon is above the current obedience cap, but the story still controls where you may proceed. Check the PokeMMO level-cap table before taking an over-leveled team into the route's battles.
Fixed Item Inside
A Moon Stone sits on a ledge behind the left waterfall. It is a fixed overworld pickup, not a claim about a wild encounter or held-item rate.
Why This Page Does Not List Encounters
The July 2026 update comprehensively rebalanced wild encounters across all five regions and split location data by time and season. Old Tohjo Falls tables can therefore be wrong.
