Regional Move Tutor locations

The ordinary regional Move Tutor is one of two NPCs found in Pokémon Centers. The PokeMMO Tutor Moves Listing and Requirements identifies the other NPC as the Move Relearner. A community video also identifies the tutor by region-colored hair and reports that the service becomes available after defeating that region’s eighth Gym.

Shard and item costs

Battle Frontier and Ultimate Move Tutors

The special Move Tutor is in Hoenn’s Battle Frontier. The community Move Tutors Guide places the NPC behind a counter in the building south of the Battle Tower, near the Battle Point exchange area.

This tutor is post-Elite Four content and uses Battle Points instead of shards and items. Costs vary by move and Pokémon, so speak to the NPC with the intended Pokémon in your party. The video lists Elite Four victories and rematches, Battle Tower rewards, and ranked PvP as ways to obtain Battle Points.

Farming shards
